My Pick of Pickerel

On Thursday, July 26th, I took my kayak down to Williams Mill just south of Delmar, MD. I was hoping to catch a good variety of fish, but ended up with only two species: bluegill and chain pickerel. In fact 7 of the 8 fish I caught were chain pickerel ranging in lengths from 14 to 19 inches. All were caught using a small octopus hook and small trout worm I�ve been using for panfish back home. All fish were released healthy to fight again.
