On 8/12/18 at 10:30am my son, Ethan Seman, caught a (~6) Pompano, on softshell sand flea while fishing at Assateague OSV zone. (DNR Note - pompano are in the genus Trachinotus, and in the family Carangidae, better known as "jacks". They are relatively uncommon in Marlyand, but are found in the ocean surf zone during summer. Sand fleas are known as the best bait for this species.)
