The proposed summer flounder regulations have been approved

Flounder season is almost here! The proposed summer flounder regulations have been approved, so the season start date is Saturday, April 17th. The minimum size is 19� and you can keep 3 fish/person/day.

The Coastal Bays Finish Investigation (CBFI) is just about to start our annual trawl survey that will run through October. The trawl starts this week, and we�re bound to see some interesting stuff, juvenile flounder included. I hope to pass along anything interesting here, from me or someone in our program, throughout the field season.
