I started the day at the pier in my subdivision today around 6:00 to take a look at the water to decide if I wanted to drop the kayak in. I opted to do some pond fishing. But did make a few casts and caught a blue fish.
Then I went over to the the pond by my daughters house in Prince Frederick. I was side tracked and stopped at the golf course pond on the way up. I caught 8 bass there even though the pond was pretty overgrown with hydrilla and algae. Casting a Whopper Plopper and wacky worm did the trick though.
Then I went to the other pond and caught three bass using a spinner bait and wacky worm before the bite stopped. That pond was clear on one end, but the other end was covered in algae. The algae was moving by the winds direction.
