Calvert County pond fishing

A friend took me to a farm pond he fishes in Prince Frederick last Friday morning (Oct. 5). I caught 17 bass and he caught five. Four of the bass I caught were over 20� the others were of nice size too.

I caught the majority of the fish on plastic frog at the edge of lily pads, and a few on a Whopper Plopper. It was a cloudy day with light wind and cool temperatures which helped with the bite.
