Yesterday (Oct. 14) was slow, the pond I chose was muddy due to the continual rain weve been experiencing here in Southern Maryland. I caught one bass, my 405th of the year. I got him on a white spinner bait. I chose one with one chrome blade and one small gold willow blade due to the colored water. Letting it settle to the bottom then slowly retrieving it, letting it hit obstacles along the bottom. I had several strikes but only one fish, they were striking short because of the low visibly. I needed a trailer hook but had none in my pack.
