Eric Packard Wed, Oct 17, 8:14 PM (13 hours ago) to me I fished St Marys lake this afternoon for about 31/2 hours. I had rowed across the lake and caught one bass off a point on a chatter bait. Then I worked my way to the cove across the lake and off to the right from the dock. Back by the beaver den. I caught quite a few bass and pickerel back there and in the shallows, back by the lily pads (although with the rain the lake is back up and visibility is about a foot and one half) Then I rowed across the lake to the far cove and caught five bass back there, again near lily pads. Then I caught one bass by the boat ramp. I caught a total of 13 largemouth bass and six pickerel, all on Whopper Plopper except for the one bass I caught on the chatter bait. No giants but lots of fun!
