On 21 May (6am 3 pm), Maryland Bass Federation Nation anglers participated in bass conservation with Maryland Department of Natural Resources by stocking larval largemouth bass in quality habitats in the Choptank River drainage. Thanks to their efforts and those of the MDDNR Eastern Region, over 30,000 larval bass were stocked. Once bass were stocked, anglers competed for the largest bass bag. Only two keeper fish (> 15 inch) were caught among 14 anglers. Lloyd Williams and Mike Kelly won with a 2 pound, 12 ounce fish.
