The Lake Was Like Glass

Yesterday afternoon, Nov. 7, I dropped my kayak in the lake over at St. Mary's River State Park in St Mary�s county. The lake was like glass and my kayak skimmed across the surface ever so silently.

I fished the bank line and coves along the bank just across from the dock. I was fishing for about three hours and casting a 1/8 oz jig with a white four inch paddle tail. Catching crappie, largemouth bass and pickerel just like another angler who reported catching a few pickerel and crappie too.

What a beautiful Wednesday afternoon on St Mary�s Lake.
