On Nov. 21, I had another successful trip for seabass on the Morning Star headboat. After a long 3 hour ride we arrived at our spot. The mate outfitted me with a jig which caught a seabass right away but soon afterwards the fishing slowed. I switched to clam baited hooks and had more success. By the end of the day I got my limit plus one hard fighting bluefish. Some really nice seabass in the 19-21 inch range were caught by other anglers. My biggest one was about 16-17 inches. Fishing should continue for a little while if the wind does not blow too hard. We had good weather going out but it got really windy on the return trip home.
