I did some wade fishing at St. Mary�s Lake today. It was a tough day. I landed three fish, two bass and a pickerel. I had a larger pickerel but it came out of the water and threw my bait. I was using swim baits with 1/4 oz. jig. Three of the fish were caught late in the day between 4 and 5.

The rain left the upper part of the lake muddy, the lower part of the lake was somewhat clearer. The discharge pipe at the base of the dam was working overtime. The lake is really high.

I�ll return tomorrow with the kayak.
