A few days back we headed over to a private pond on the eastern shore, hoping to get into some Bass and Pickerel with reaction baits. After hopping out of the car, I made the ever so anticipated first cast, which resulted in a feisty pickerel. After that we spent the rest of the day catching and releasing an astounding amount of mainly Bass and Pickerel. The high definition 1/2oz Rat-L-Trap, imitating a baby bass, was really impressive on this occasion as I've seen before in the Chesapeake. Below are a few of the many fish.
