Some Rainy Day Put and Take Trout

The put and take trout are still in the ponds in Calvert County. Due to the current weather conditions not too many fishermen have been out taking trout. I fished Calvert Cliffs pond last evening (Feb. 23) for an hour and half. I caught two rainbow trout and saw a brown trout come out of the water and several rainbow boil to the surface giving their location away. I caught my two fish on flys, one on a bead head nymph the other on a dry fly. Power baits and small inline spinners work well on light tackle too.
