Crappie Fishing

I fished a local pond with my son in law Saturday afternoon for some crappie. I caught 10 crappie while Dale caught two crappie and a nice 18� Largemouth Bass.

The bass was caught on a Rattle Trap. The crappie were caught on a small jig dressed with a white and chartreuse grub under a weighted bobber. Simple cast retrieve in short jerks, pause (5 or 6 seconds) wait for the bite if none repeat back to to shore or the boat.

Cool weather but tolerable as long as you�re catching!
