Windy Saturday on the Lake

I loaded up the kayak and headed to St Mary�s Lake for some pickerel and Largemouth Bass fishing. When I got to the dock the lake was moving relatively fast. I put in, paddled with the wind and found a cove with some protection from the wind. That didn�t work out so I wrapped it up. I avoid the water on a kayak when there are 13 mph and above winds.

I took my minnows and headed over to Calvert county for some pond fishing. I caught three largemouth bass and four crappie. On minnow under a bobber attached to a 1/8 oz lead jig. My biggest fish was 21.25�. It turned out to be a great day!
