Everything is Biting at Fletchers

I just returned from another successful fishing trip to Fletchers Boathouse in Washington DC. I was fishing from shore and after a slow start started to catch Hickory Shad on shad darts. Also caught a small Striped Bass, then some White Perch and finally a nice American Shad. Everything is biting now provided that rains do not muddy the water. The American Shad should come into their own pretty soon. Boats are now being rented. A fair number of people are fishing on a Tuesday afternoon. Tight lines,
