Yesterday's Outing

We set out from Wye River at 7:30 yesterday morning for a day of rockfish fishing on the Eastern Bay over oyster beds in Crab Alley and other spots such as Black Buoy, The Convenient Store, Grand Tetons and X Marks the spot.

We caught 19 rockfish on 1 oz jigs dress in a white paddle tail and small vertical spoons while drift fishing over the aforementioned locations. The larger fish were in the mid 20 inch range while the majority of the fish were under 19 inches.
