Mattawoman Creek

I fished Mattawoman Creek today from 11:00 - 4:00 catching four largemouth bass and one snakehead in the process. Bass were caught on frog, wacky worm and Whopper Plopper. Snakehead was caught on a Whopper Plopper.

No pic of the snakehead. I landed him and had him in the kayak in the net. I thought I could get yet better control of him with the lip grips but, he flipped out of the kayak as I was playing around with the grips. ??

A few people were catching catfish off the pier here too. On eel.
