Week in Review

I basically fished local this week, St Marys Lake and Calvert County ponds and marsh. The weather didn�t cooperate for small boats and kayaks, too much wind. At any rate I fished St Marys Lake catching 5 bass and 3 pickerel on Tuesday. Then on Thursday I fished with Isaac at his local pond. He was out fishing me all afternoon, catching 10 bluegill and a crappie. I caught two small bass and three crappie.

Next, I fished the irrigation pond for the Calvert Cliffs golf course catching two bass then I headed to Calvert Cliffs State Park.

The pond was algae covered, so I thought there may be snakehead in the marsh back near the beach. I stopped along the way catching three bass. Then worked my way to the beaver dam fishing along the way. Only other fish I caught was a small snakehead. I Thought they may be there!

Off to camping with the grandkids at Smallwood State park and maybe some snakehead fishing in the Mattawoman too.
