Saturday on St Mary's Lake

This past Saturday I dropped my kayak into St Mary�s lake for a few hours of fishing. I could see panfish actively feeding on the surface. Casting beyond the activity and retrieving my beetle spin back to the kayak I caught five crappie and a 12� yellow perch. I then focused my attention to working the shoreline in the back of a small cove across from the docks. Targeting largemouth bass I landed three and a bonus of five pickerel. Using a swim jig with a paddle tail and a beetle spin with a white twister tail.
