Fair to Good Fishing For Black Sea Bass

I just got back from a late June fishing trip for Black Sea Bass on the Morning Star Headboat. Fishing is not too bad but limits are hard to come by. Seas were rough in the morning but quieted down by mid day. Fishing was good for Sea Bass with some double headers but many of these fish had to go back. I did wind up with 7 keepers including one that was 2 ounces shy of winning the fish pool. Overall I had a good day with at least 3 nice Sea Bass and 4 others that were keeper size. Fishing success can vary with some days better than others.
