Smallmouth Bass in the Susquehanna

Caught this smallmouth bass in Susquehanna River State Park! It put up quite the fight. At first I wasn't getting any luck, and just when I thought I could chalk it up to a bad day of fishing, this guy started pulling! It put up quite the fight. Luckily, friendly anglers nearby brought a net over so we could hoist it up from the bridge. It tasted amazing on the grill later that night!
