Nans Cove, Calvert County

I fished Nan�s Cove off the Patuxent River, Calvert County, MD on June 28. I caught 10 white perch and two channel catfish on a beetle spin.

I�ve never fished here before and I only fished it that day for two hours, arriving at 10:30 am. I had to leave early due to the heat. I�m going to assume the fishing is better early or later in the day.

I cast my bait past baitfish I could see on the surface. Catching fish as I passed through the schools. Again I�m going to assume if I were fishing minnow or bloodworm I would have caught more fish.
