Aboard Tight Lines, neighbor's 22' Grady White. We put in at Chesapeake Beach. Found spot and nice perch off Holland Point in less than 10 feet. About 10 AM, the wind quickly built to 10-15 with gusts to 20. We ran up to the Bay Bridge. It was just after slack water, sloppy and windy, and a storm was building up over the mouth of the Patapsco. Boats were anchored on the upwind (south) side of the northern span awaiting the ebb to kick in. We anchored and cast live spot up to piling and let them drift back. We didn't have any hits, although we saw a few stripers caught over by the group of piles that I fished on a charter the day before. Just as everyone was shifting to the other side of the bridge to lay close on engines and put live bait in the ebb flow, an air-to-ground lightning bolt struck maybe 3-5 miles north and another storm was building over Annapolis. So, we hauled anchor and beat our way back to Chesapeake Beach.
