Blue Catfish Patuxent River

Dylan Robertson (age 11) of Monrovia, MD caught a 34" 26 lb blue catfish off a pier on the Patuxent River near Brandywine, MD in the early morning of 7/13 using cut bait. It wrapped itself around an underwater object and was difficult to get free (and you can see the abrasions near its tail), but after about 30 minutes we got it loose and Dylan fought to bring it in.
