Some Bluegill and Bass Pond Fishing
Type: Nontidal
Region: Southern
Location: Pond

I headed out for some snakehead fishing today but only to score a Largemouth Bass at the Calvert Cliffs State Park pond. Then while there, my grandson, Isaac called to ask if we could do some pond fishing for bluegill and bass. So I gathered my things and headed over to Isaac’s place.

Once there we fished for a few hours, catching nine bass and a little over 20 bluegill ( Isaac caught the bluegill). Bluegill were caught on night crawlers. Bass and one crappie were caught on top water mouse and beetle spin. Isaac also caught his personal best, largemouth bass a 16” fish.

Another great day of fishing with Isaac!
