Sheepshead Surprise

I caught and released this small sheepshead in St Jerome's Creek on Saturday morning 8/24/19. I've never caught one here before.

DNR Correction: The fish in the picture is actually a juvenile black drum. Juvenile black drum havd distinctive dark vertical stripes over a gray or silver body. You can find out some more information on the black drum by going to the Fish Facts Page on the Fishing and Boating Services web site.
