9.25� Blue Crab

Andrew (13), Nikolaus (11), Nathan (8), and Lucas (6) Vogel worked together (on 31 August 2019) to land this 9.25� blue crab in a flop trap (baited with spot) off the pier at their grandparents house on Rock Creek (Pasadena, MD). This is the second crab over 8� the group has caught this summer (previously caught an 8.5� crab on 3 July off the same pier using a hand line).

The Vogels each received a FishMaryland certificate for this catch. Congratulations!
