9.25” Blue Crab

<p>Andrew (13), Nikolaus (11), Nathan (8), and Lucas (6) Vogel worked together (on 31 August 2019) to land this 9.25” blue crab in a flop trap (baited with spot) off the pier at their grandparents house on Rock Creek (Pasadena, MD). This is the second crab over 8” the group has caught this summer (previously caught an 8.5” crab on 3 July off the same pier using a hand line).</p> <p>The Vogels each received a FishMaryland certificate for this catch.
