On Friday (Aug 30, 2019) these Spanish mackerel were trolled up and kept just outside entrance to Herring Bay in only 12-15 feet of water. Working 4 rods with #1 planers and doing ~ 7 mph in tight circles around busting bait and birds was pure chaos and great fun. These fish were brined and smoked on Saturday - yum!
Mark received a FishMaryland certificate for this catch. Congratulations!
