Noah's Cutlassfish

<p>Noah Greenbaum, from Fair Lawn NJ, caught this 32.25 inch, 1.19 lb Atlantic cutlassfish, near the Rt. 90 Bridge in Ocean City on 8/28/19. He was fishing light tackle with Capt Dave from On the Run Charters and received a certificate for a unique and notable catch. </p> <p> Cutlassfish are a warm water species and have been caught in both the Chesapeake Bay, Coastal Bays, and ocean this summer. In some cases they are caught by accident while trolling spoons for Spanish mackerel. We have also seen them caught on top-bottom bait rigs and casting lures on light spinning tackle. </p>
