Smithville Lake October 12th

We tried to fish the Potomac on Saturday the 12th however, the extreme high tide prevented launching there. Based on the looks of other bodies of water we decided to go to a non-tidal location. We ended up at Smithville Lake past Denton. We caught bass and chain pickerel on a variety of baits. Two of the bass we caught were over 3lbs.
