I had fun on the pond today, 12/09, over at Tuckahoe State Park. I put in at a quarter till ten and fished for three hours. Although it rained some the bite was on.
It wasnt more than fifteen minutes and I had my first fish on, a 17 inch largemouth bass. I was casting a shad color Rat-L-Trap until I lost it. (UGH!) Then I tied on square bill plug. The fish I caught were either near old lily pads or timber/stumps. In all I caught three largemouth bass, five pickerel and one crappie.
