A great ending to an action packed weekend of fishing. The warmer water temps had these fish on the hunt. My friend, Mike Gorombol, landed this fish after a day of some brutal windy conditions. Mike is new to the muskie sport but is on the board already this new year with this trophy male muskie. This fish has been tracked with an implanted transmitter by the MD Dept. of Natural Resources since march of 2018. Although it was missing dart tags, after a conversation with fisheries biologist it was confirmed that this is a male muskie that's over 10 years old and at almost max length for its sex. The fish measured 39 inches. If you look closely you can see the transmitter wire hanging from his belly.
