Blue Catfish Blitz on the Susquehanna

We have been receiving an increasing number of blue catfish reports from the Susquehanna River and Susquehanna flats. Rich Gray caught these big blue catfish, up to 35 inches, just north of the I-95 bridge Susquehanna River on cut bait on 2/9/20. The fish in the photos are just a few of 16 blue catfish caught that day, all over 15 pounds. Rich has caught approximately 60 large blue catfish since October, with many in the 20 pound range. The Department thanks Rich for harvesting these invasive catfish from the Susquehanna River!
