Western Shore-Yellow Perch

I spent a few hours looking for yellow perch in Anne Arundel County and found them with a white and red jig head tipped with a minnow. My catch ranged from 10� to 13� they were ready to go. I also caught a nuisance of pickerel from 16� - 22". Yellow perch are my favorite fish to catch in the Chesapeake Bay, hands down. Love the fight, but on 4 lb test it can be a challenge in a kayak. My wife and my 2 year old love them fried with some mango salsa!
