On Thursday, 5/28 I took chance at fishing St Marys Lake, but I got ran off by thunderstorms rolling in. So today I grab an opportunity to try again when a short window in the weather opened. I walked the 1.4 miles back to the lake and then another mile or so to where I wanted to do some wade fishing. In the end it paid off with a nice afternoon and catching a variety of species. Catching a yellow perch, a couple of crappie and a couple pickerel too and a few bass. The bass were striking the bait very lightly and short too. The lake water was very clear, I didnt check the water temp because I was of course wade fishing.
