St Mary�s County Pond Jumping

On June 1 my friend, Julian Tsai, and I took the day to fish three farm ponds in St Mary�s County. Pond jumping started at 6:30 in the morning. We launched our kayaks at each location and fished them for a few hours each.

In the end we caught a total 53 largemouth bass, 8 crappie and three large bluegill. The bass were caught on a shaky head jig with a six inch green/white wacky worm, and a Mepps spinner. The crappie were caught on a beetle spin the bluegill too.

The last photo is of a field of old spawning beds at one of the ponds. I thought it made a cool photo.
