My name is Aaron Sudduth, I live in Lusby, MD. I caught the 23 Inch Snakehead below the dam of Lake Lariat in Southern Calvert County, while bass fishing. My first lure was a Mepps spinner that was bit off, either by this fish or another. I then quickly recasted with a plastic worm for an explosive hit and landed the fish which went promply into my cooler.

DNR RESPONSE: Thanks for helping us to lower the population size of this invasive species in Maryland. Drop us info on the catch with a picture that clearly shows the fish is dead every time you kill one, and you�ll get entered again.
