I just got back from a headboat fishing trip on the Morning Star off of Ocean City Maryland. Seabass fishing is hot with limits common. The ride out to the fishing grounds was rough but most people did not get seasick. Seas calmed down soon and the action was steady with many doubles of keepers. Half the people limited and the other half were close. On some days everyone gets their limit. If you are coming from Washington DC beware of curfew times. I had to rush out the door in order to avoid the curfew and spent the night sleeping in my car at the marina parking lot to wait for the headboat to board. Also beware if you are returning home and might not make it in time before the curfew takes effect. Maryland does not have any curfews but DC does. The effort was worth it and I got my limit of 15 Seabass. There will be Seabass on the menu tonight!
