Patuxent Rockfish

I was fishing the Patuxent River in Huntingtown, MD on June 17th at 3:00 p.m. Temperatures were in the mid 60s, it was raining and there was a high tide. I was using the same catfish rig I used in my other entries (slide weight, leader, circle hook, Ugly Stik). We used a cast net to catch some shad off of the pier. We put a few on the hook at a time. Caught this Rockfish about an hour into being there. Forgot to weigh him but an estimated weight of 8 pounds.
