I'm back home from two days up on Catoctin Mountain fly fishing for some brookies, browns and rainbows.
There were three of us on this outing, fishing Hunting Creek. The two days went by pretty quick. Ill need to head back up soon and go alone to take time to learn the streams. Taking it slow next time, I spooked way too many fish walking up on them. I did have some success, catching two trout a rainbow and brown. Lots of fun!
I didn't get a photo of the rainbow because I left my net back in the truck, and... anyway I had my hand on him but he literally slipped away.
The area is a beautiful place and worth the trip back up to Catoctin Mountain.
