Some Mill Creek Fishing

On Wednesday 7/8, for some unknown reason, I waited to fish Mill Creek way after the sun came up. WOW it was Hot!

I went out looking for puppy drum, I�ve been told that they are in the creek but had never caught any. Then, the other day, a friend told me he caught one off his pier, it�s on the creek. He sent a photo to prove his catch. I have actually seen large bull redfish in Mill Creek the past two years but I thought they were just random fish.

Anyway, I had no luck catching redfish but I did catch 17 perch on beetle spin, nine rockfish on jigs. I upsized the jig hoping for bigger fish but the little guys harassed me (biggest 17�) so I moved on.

I then caught one spotted seatrout on a 1/2oz jig with a five inch green and pink paddle.
