My buddy, Grant, texted and asked if I wanted to fill the spot on the back of his boat for some bay fishing. Of course I said yea!
We left out of Churchton and headed across the bay. Stopping at Poplar Island. Where he caught a giant perch. Then we headed and fished around the Sharps Island lighthouse. Catching speckled trout, bluefish and a few bicatch striped bass. After a bit of too many bluefish bites we left to try around Hoopers Island. But with no luck we wrapped the day up. Catching the fish on light tackle and 1/4oz jigs with 5 plastics. In the end we caught well over 50 fish.
