Thursday on the Pond

Type: Nontidal
Region: Southern
Location: Prince Frederick community pond

On 7/30/2020 we took a few hours to visit my daughter up in Prince Frederick, while my middle daughter is visiting from out of town. Anyway, I walked down to the community pond to see if I could catch some bass. I started out casting a wacky worm and never needed to change my bait.

I started fishing at 1:00, but wrapped up early because I simply quit sweating. Which of course isnt good. I was back at the house by three but not before I caught six bass. I was actually surprised that I had caught anything due to this heat. But on the north end of the pond there is a small feeder creek. So its slightly cooler and oxygenated water. And where I caught all of the bass.
