On Sunday, 8/23, I got out on the water at 6:30 in the morning and started fishing while I waited for my friend Cliff to arrive. He got on the water a little after seven. By that time I had already caught a red drum and a white perch. We then headed out to fish six different points, all covered with rip rap. Casting small jigs and beetle spins.

Cliff caught his first red drum, bluefish and croaker in years. He had a blast. We ended up with eight red drum, a blue fish (plenty of baits bit off), one croaker and a handful of perch. Fun morning on the water!
