Rainy Days Ahead

I planned on fishing the creeks today but it rained. With rain in the forecast until Monday down here, CCA has moved the Red Trout Tournament to next weekend. Ugh. Guess I�ll be fishing in the rain over the next few days.

I grabbed two rods and hit the pier, catching two perch and three rockfish with two 19�s. But at the cost of my favorite freshwater spinning rod, double ugh! One rockfish took a beetle spin meant for perch and by the time I weaved him out from below the pier, snap! All were caught on 1/2oz jig with orange and pink paddle tail and 1/8 oz beetle spins with a twister tail.
