"LiL Zee" Report

On June 3rd "LiL Zee" captained by Denny Seabright trolled small bucktails with green and white sassy shads to catch a couple legal stripers just off the gas docks outside of the Patuxent River in MD, In this picture Sara Miller and Cody Seabright hold up a nice 22 inch Rock as Theresa keeps the boat straight.

On the 4th the Lil Zee trolled closer to the targets with the rest of the fleet finding plenty of fish but the overall size were not as good, a factor could of been we were trolling white bucktails with smaller twister tails. The two rods that consistently went off were on downriggers set at 25 and 20 feet with 50 feet of dropback. The lead core lines didn't produce all day even when weights were applied. No Stripers came to the surface to feed and excite the gulls the whole two day period even though the water temps were in the 78 degree range by eve.
