Limits Almost Guaranteed

Type: Ocean
Region: Eastern
Location: Ocean City

I recently got back from a fishing trip on the "Morning Star" headboat off the coast of Ocean City Maryland. We traveled almost 3 hours to an offshore reef site and started fishing in a light rain with wind. The seas were not too rough. Right away people started getting double headers of keeper seabass, including me. Action was steady throughout the day with improving weather and the sun eventually came out. The entire boat limited with the captain offering to stay at the reef until everyone got his or her limit. A nice summer flounder took the fish pool and was heavier than some of the jumbo seabass caught that day. I think this good fishing will continue in October and November and maybe into December. Tight lines!
