I ran over to St Mary�s State Park today and pulled the kayak back the one mile to the lake. I launched it at the foot of the dam and caught my first bass on a wacky rig within minutes.

I caught fish on wacky rig, 1/4 oz jig with a 4� paddle tail and a beetle spin. Casting on lay downs, around points and stick ups and catching 23 largemouth bass, a pickerel and crappie in the lake. After I pulled the kayak out of the lake I cast a wacky rig into the discharge pond at the foot of the dam, catching an additional five bass.

Gloomy weather but a fun day on the water.
