Flooded St Mary�s Lake

I took a walk back to St. Mary�s lake on Monday, 11/16, to fish it. My buddy, Darren said it was high. He was right, the water is over the top of the concrete and discharge intakes. I fished for about 2 1/2 hours until the winds started picking up. I only had one bite, a really small largemouth bass. So, I pulled off the lake.

I caught the one bass on a Shakey head jig. I really couldn�t fish much with worms because the wind was too much. Hard baits weren�t picking anything up, probably because they move too fast the waters cold. It was a cold and windy day on an over the top flooded lake!
